ABOUT RAYOGRAPHIX

The studio in Chatham, NY

Rayographix is a large format, fine art digital printing and imaging studio located in Chatham, NY

Rayographix has been providing artists and photographers with digital printing services for 20 years. Our services include digitizing artwork, color and tonal correction, retouching, proofing and printing.

Pigments and paper matter

Archival pigment prints are only archival (long-lasting) when paired with acid-free papers. We help you create the highest quality archival pigment prints (a.k.a. giclée prints) on a curated selection of premium acid-free papers from Canson and Hahnemühle. We stock fine art, heavy weight papers in a variety of surfaces from ultra smooth to heavy texture. Our economy papers are lighter in weight but also archival, using the same inks and equipment.

equipment matters

Rayographix is a fine art, large-format digital printing lab, and we can print your artwork at almost any size. Our equipment includes an Epson Stylus Pro 11880, up to 64” wide and Epson Surecolor P9570, up to 44” wide. We can also digitize your artwork in our studio with the Nikon D850, 45.7 megapixels, full sensor, D-SLR camera.

When choosing Rayographix, you will be working directly with Ray on your project. If you are unable to visit Rayographix in person, we can handle the printmaking decisions for you, and ship anywhere in the world.

About owner/photographer Ray Henders

Rayographix was founded in 2004, by photographer Ray Henders, to fulfill the need for a personalized approach to fine art digital printing. Ray has always been happy to see an artist’s eyes light up when they see their work printed for the first time, or when they see it printed correctly for the first time.

Ray is a former music photographer who moved to NYC in 1997, and was lucky enough to assist many great photographers. He learned his craft on one of the first digital printers, the Iris printer. Digital printing has come a long way since 1997, and we continue to grow and learn with new technology.

Many of our clients have been with us since the beginning in Brooklyn and surrounding boroughs, and have followed us to the Hudson Valley. We continue to work with amazingly talented people all around the Hudson Valley. Rayographix is truly grateful to be part of the Columbia County art community and surrounding region.
